From Bachelor in India to Master in Germany
An integrated pathway connecting Indian academic foundations with German applied education, industry exposure and international career opportunities.

What is an integrated program?
One pathway, two countries, two degrees. You complete the first three years of your Bachelor’s at Osmania University or Kakatiya University in India. In your fourth year, you come to Germany: you finish your Bachelor’s here with a certificate course and a project, and then move directly into a Master’s program at Reutlingen University. The academic content is aligned between the universities, so your studies build on each other without gaps. All organized and provided by the Knowledge Foundation.
You study the first three years of your Bachelor’s at Osmania University or Kakatiya University in India.
You complete your fourth Bachelor year in Germany in three phases: a certificate course with exams (2–4 months), a Bachelor project to gain practical experience (3–4 months) and the transition to the Master’s program, including preparation and admission (approx. 2 months). Your Bachelor’s degree is awarded by your Indian university. After this year, you are ready to move from your Bachelor’s to your Master’s studies.
You continue directly with a Master’s in Professional Software Engineering (PSE) or Digital Business Management (DBM) at the Knowledge Foundation (Reutlingen University). You start with a two-week „Welcome to Master“, followed by an upskilling phase that wraps up the modules from your certificate course. Because you already prepare for your Master’s program during your fourth Bachelor year, your Master’s studies are shortened. This means you earn a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in a total of five years. Your Master’s degree is awarded by Reutlingen University.

This is not a conventional study-abroad program. You join German academia and German industry as part of one structured pathway.

Reutlingen University was founded in 1855 and today has around 5,000 students from more than 80 countries. It is a top-ranked university: in the CHE Ranking 2026, Business Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics was placed in the top group, and HR managers rank its graduates among the top 10 in Germany (WirtschaftsWoche 2023).
Osmani University / Kakatiya University
Osmania University in Hyderabad and Kakatiya University in Warangal are two of the leading universities in Telangana. Both hold the highest NAAC grade awarded to them, A+. Both of them give students a strong academic foundation for their Master’s in Germany.
Knowledge Foundation
The Knowledge Foundation is the higher education foundation of Reutlingen University and is strongly industry-oriented. Together with the university’s faculties and more than 80 partner companies, it develops and delivers study and education programs with real company value.
